Many cruisers first came to know me as Gambee, the creator of Cruise with Gambee, a website dedicated to honest cruise reviews, onboard menus, drink prices, daily programs, and practical cruise advice.
Today, that journey continues under a new name:
CruisePrism.
The mission hasn’t changed.
To provide honest, practical cruise information that helps travelers make better decisions before they book and while they’re onboard.
Our Story
Cruise with Gambee began more than twelve years ago after my very first cruise with my mom aboard Norwegian Sky.
What started as a single vacation quickly turned into a family tradition, and eventually grew into a website visited by thousands of cruisers looking for straightforward advice instead of marketing brochures.
Since then, we’ve sailed throughout the Caribbean, Alaska, Europe, and other destinations aboard a wide variety of cruise lines and ships.
Over the years I’ve learned that no two people experience a cruise the same way.
My mom loves the entertainment, live music, and energy around the ship.
I’m usually exploring restaurants, photographing menus, comparing drink prices, evaluating the ship itself, and enjoying quiet time on the balcony.
That difference in perspective has shaped CruisePrism from the very beginning.

Not every document on CruisePrism comes from my own sailings.
Many menus, daily programs, newsletters, and onboard documents have been generously contributed by fellow cruisers from around the world.
Whenever possible, I organize, review, explain, and expand upon those materials to make them easier to understand and more useful for future passengers.
Whether the information comes from one of my own cruises or from a trusted contributor, my goal is always to present it accurately, clearly, and honestly.
My Review Philosophy
Cruises are expensive.
That’s why I believe reviews should be honest—not sponsored sales pitches.
If I love something, I’ll explain why.
If something disappoints me, I’ll say that too.
I don’t believe every ship is perfect, and I don’t believe every cruise line is right for every traveler.
My goal isn’t to convince you to book a cruise.
My goal is to give you enough honest information to decide whether it’s the right cruise for you.
