Is Starbucks Included in the Norwegian Cruise Line Drink Package?

No. Starbucks is not included with Norwegian Cruise Line’s standard Free at Sea beverage package.

Norwegian specifically states that its Unlimited Starbucks Package must be purchased separately from the standard Free at Sea beverage package.

Guests who want Starbucks included have two main options: purchase the Unlimited Starbucks Package separately or upgrade to Free at Sea Plus, which includes Unlimited Starbucks.

So if you have only Norwegian’s regular Free at Sea drink package, expect to pay separately when ordering at Starbucks.

How Much Is the Norwegian Cruise Line Starbucks Package?

Norwegian currently prices the Unlimited Starbucks Package at $16.50 per person, per day.

A 20% gratuity and beverage service charge is added at checkout, bringing the cost to approximately $19.80 per person, per day

For a seven-night cruise, that works out to approximately $138.60 per person.

Whether the package is worth it depends heavily on how much Starbucks you drink. With many of the specialty drinks on the Norwegian Luna menu costing around $6 to $8 each, guests who regularly order several Starbucks drinks per day have a much better chance of getting value from the package than someone who only wants a single morning coffee.

What Does the Norwegian Unlimited Starbucks Package Include?

Norwegian describes its Unlimited Starbucks Package as covering Starbucks coffee, tea, Refreshers, Frappuccino favorites, and other specialty beverages. Guests are limited to one beverage per person, per transaction.

The package does not include:

  • Food
  • Canned beverages
  • Bottled beverages
  • Starbucks merchandise

That means the croissants, muffins, cake pops, cookies, and other bakery items listed above still cost extra even if you purchase the Starbucks package.

Is Starbucks Included With Free at Sea Plus?

Yes. Unlimited Starbucks is included with Norwegian Cruise Line’s Free at Sea Plus package.

Free at Sea Plus currently costs $49.99 per person, per day and includes several additional benefits beyond Starbucks, including premium alcoholic beverages, energy drinks and fresh juices, bottled water, unlimited streaming Wi-Fi, prepaid service charges, and a 50% discount on additional specialty dining cover charges.

For someone considering Free at Sea Plus anyway, the inclusion of Unlimited Starbucks makes purchasing the standalone Starbucks package unnecessary.

Can You Buy the Starbucks Package After Boarding?

Yes.

Effective July 1, 2026, Norwegian allows eligible guests to purchase the Unlimited Starbucks Package either before the cruise or onboard.

Guests must be at least 13 years old at the time of sailing to purchase the standalone package.

Does Everyone in the Cabin Have to Buy the Starbucks Package?

No.

This is an important change to Norwegian’s Starbucks package rules.

Effective July 1, 2026, the Unlimited Starbucks Package can be purchased individually. Norwegian no longer requires every eligible guest on the same reservation to purchase it.

That makes the package considerably more practical if only one person in the cabin regularly drinks Starbucks.

Can You Share the Norwegian Starbucks Package?

No. Norwegian states that the Starbucks package is non-transferable and cannot be shared.

Eligible guests are limited to one beverage per person, per transaction

Can You Use the Starbucks Package at Great Stirrup Cay?

Yes.

Norwegian’s current terms specifically state that the Unlimited Starbucks Package can be used at Starbucks locations onboard and at Great Stirrup Cay.

The package is not valid at Harvest Caye
