Margaritaville at Sea Drink Menus, Prices & Beverage Package Guide

Looking for the latest Margaritaville at Sea drink menus, cocktail prices, beer prices, wine lists, coffee shop prices, and beverage package information? This guide combines recently donated onboard menus with current cruise line package information to help you estimate your bar tab before sailing.

While these menus were generously shared by fellow cruisers and were not collected during my own sailing, I have sailed with Margaritaville at Sea myself and had a genuinely enjoyable experience. In fact, some of the best sleep I’ve ever had on a cruise was in one of their interior cabins.

If you book a Margaritaville cruise expecting a luxury mega-ship experience, you’re probably setting yourself up for disappointment. If you book it understanding that it’s a budget-friendly cruise vacation focused on fun, relaxation, good food, and great value, there’s a lot to like.

On my sailing with my mother and several family members, we had a wonderful time visiting Grand Bahama Island, enjoying the entertainment, and simply spending time together. That’s ultimately what cruising is about.

Margaritaville at Sea Beverage Package

Ultimate Beverage Chill Package

According to Margaritaville at Sea, the Ultimate Beverage Chill package includes beer, wine by the glass, cocktails, specialty drinks (up to $20 each), bottled water, soda, mocktails, and many non-alcoholic beverages. Guests are limited to 15 alcoholic beverages per day.

Current pricing varies by sailing, but recent advertised pricing ranges from approximately $50-$75 per person per day before gratuities, depending on ship and itinerary.

One important rule: if one adult in a cabin purchases the package, all adults in the same cabin generally must purchase it as well.

Is the Margaritaville at Sea Drink Package Worth It?

Based on the donated menus above, most cocktails cost approximately $15 each.

Let’s do some quick math:

If You Drink Cocktails

  • 3 cocktails = $45
  • 4 cocktails = $60
  • 5 cocktails = $75
  • 6 cocktails = $90

If You Add:

  • Specialty coffee = $5
  • Bottle of water = $3-$4
  • Soda = $3+
  • Glass of wine = $10-$12

You can see how the package starts making sense fairly quickly for heavier drinkers.

My Opinion

The package is probably worth it if:

  • ✅ You regularly drink 5+ alcoholic beverages per day
  • ✅ You enjoy bottled water, soda, mocktails, and specialty beverages throughout the cruise
  • ✅ You don’t want to think about your onboard bar tab

The package is probably not worth it if:

  • ❌ You only have one or two drinks daily
  • ❌ You’re a light social drinker
  • ❌ You’re primarily interested in specialty coffees (those are generally excluded from the package)

For many cruisers, paying as you go may actually be cheaper.

My Experience with Margaritaville at Sea

I’ve noticed that Margaritaville at Sea often gets criticized by travelers who compare it directly to Royal Caribbean, Carnival’s newest ships, or Norwegian Cruise Line. After sailing on the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise myself, I don’t think that’s a fair comparison.

Margaritaville at Sea occupies a different space in the cruise industry. Rather than competing with the largest and newest cruise ships, it focuses on providing an affordable and fun cruise vacation with a relaxed atmosphere and access to destinations like Grand Bahama Island.

If you board expecting a floating mega-resort, you’ll probably focus on what the ship lacks. However, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly cruise with good food, entertainment, and a tropical getaway, the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise may surprise you.

That was certainly my experience. I sailed with family, enjoyed the onboard dining, explored Grand Bahama Island, and came home feeling that the cruise delivered excellent value for the price.

Final Verdict

For cruisers looking for a budget-friendly vacation, Margaritaville at Sea continues to offer one of the most affordable ways to get on the water.

The drink prices are generally in line with other mainstream cruise lines, and the Ultimate Beverage Chill package can provide good value for guests who enjoy several drinks per day.

Most importantly, remember what you’re buying. You’re not booking the largest ship in the world. You’re booking an affordable cruise vacation built around fun, relaxation, and tropical vibes.

Go in with the right expectations, and you may find yourself having a much better time than you expected.
